Job Description

The HR Manager plays a critical role in shaping and fostering a positive workplace environment. This role requires a deep understanding of human resources practices, as well as strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills. The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes, ensuring the ultimate achievement of business goals by attracting, retaining, and motivating exceptional talent. They also work closely with department heads to align HR strategy with business strategy and generate value. In this position, the HR Manager must be proactive and innovative in addressing organizational needs, all the while ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. Managing employee benefits, designing performance management systems, and leading change initiatives are also key aspects of this role.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's business goals.
  • Manage recruitment and selection processes to attract top quality candidates.
  • Oversee employee performance management processes and provide feedback.
  • Design and execute training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations and employment laws to mitigate risk.
  • Lead and manage employee engagement and feedback processes regularly.
  • Coordinate and administer employee benefits programs and compensation schemes.
  • Resolve complex employee relations issues, ensuring appropriate actions are taken.
  • Collaborate with department managers to forecast and plan workforce demands.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies that promote a positive workplace culture.
  • Provide leadership and coaching to HR team members to enhance their capabilities.
  • Utilize data analytics tools to assess HR metrics and inform decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field required.
  • At least five years of experience in a human resources management position.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and human resources practices.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills are essential.
  • Experience with HR software and tools such as HRIS and ATS preferred.
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks effectively.
