Job Description

As a Human Resources (HR) Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the human resources practices and objectives at our company, fostering an employee-oriented, high-performance culture that emphasizes quality, productivity, standards, goal attainment, and recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce. You will be responsible for developing policy and directing and coordinating human resources activities, such as employment, compensation, labor relations, benefits, training, and employee services. A successful candidate for the HR Manager position should possess strong leadership skills, effective communication capabilities, excellent problem-solving abilities, and deep knowledge of the HR field. Your role is essential in maintaining legal compliance, managing interactions between employees and management, as well as promoting a diverse and inclusive work environment that contributes effectively to the company's objectives.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement human resources strategies that align with overall company goals.
  • Oversee the recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of new staff bettering the overall team.
  • Maintain the work structure by updating job requirements and descriptions for all positions.
  • Consult with legal counsel to ensure policies comply with federal and state law.
  • Maintain historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system.
  • Analyze training needs and plan, develop, implement, and evaluate training programs.
  • Resolve employee issues and grievances with empathy and maintain workplace harmony.
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations and mitigate risks related to HR practices.
  • Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitudes toward organizational goals.
  • Coordinate and conduct exit interviews to identify reasons for employee termination.
  • Oversee the benefits programs and manage employee benefits vendors efficiently.
  • Collaborate with management to address human resources-related issues and provide strategic input.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in an HR managerial role with strong leadership capability.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills are essential.
  • Deep knowledge of employment law and labor relations to navigate legal complexities.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in HRIS and talent management systems for managing HR operations.
  • Leadership quality to cultivate a positive workplace culture and employee engagement.
