Job Description

The HR Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the human resources department with the efficient running of the HR function. This includes a variety of administrative tasks, helping to ensure smooth communication and prompt resolution of all queries. As an HR Assistant, you will assist in a wide range of functions such as recruitment, onboarding, employee record keeping, and HR policy dissemination. Additionally, you will also work closely with employees at different levels to provide assistance on HR-related queries and foster a positive workplace culture. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and have excellent communication skills. By contributing to the daily HR activities, this role is pivotal in maintaining a positive employer-employee relationship, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and enhancing the overall work environment.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job ads and scheduling interviews.
  • Support the onboarding process by preparing relevant documentation and conducting orientations.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in the HR systems.
  • Answer employee queries regarding HR-related issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Coordinate training sessions and seminars for employees, ensuring high participation and engagement.
  • Prepare reports on HR metrics, such as turnover rates and recruitment statistics.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and assist in implementing HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist with payroll processing by collecting and verifying relevant data.
  • Organize employee engagement activities and company events to boost morale.
  • Participate in HR projects, such as employee satisfaction surveys and performance reviews.
  • Support the development and implementation of new HR initiatives and systems.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while handling sensitive information.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Assistant or relevant human resources position.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HR software programs required.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.
  • Familiarity with basic labor laws and regulations is an advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and efficiently.
