Job Description

As an HR Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in the human resources department by supporting HR managers and ensuring efficient HR operations. This position requires a detail-oriented and organized individual who is comfortable handling a variety of tasks related to employee records, recruitment processes, and general HR inquiries. You will be the first point of contact for employees and will help facilitate smooth communication and efficient administrative functions. This position offers an excellent opportunity to learn and grow within the HR field, as you will be exposed to various facets of human resource management including onboarding, benefits administration, and compliance. You will need to exhibit strong interpersonal skills, the ability to multitask, and a keen attention to detail in order to thrive in this dynamic role.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in the recruitment process by screening resumes and scheduling interviews.
  • Maintain and update employee records in the HR information system.
  • Help coordinate employee orientations and facilitate new hire onboarding processes.
  • Respond to employee inquiries and resolve issues regarding HR policies and procedures.
  • Support HR managers in maintaining accurate records for performance reviews.
  • Assist with the implementation and tracking of training and development programs.
  • Coordinate meetings and travel arrangements for HR events and conferences.
  • Compile and prepare HR reports, presentations, and documents as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and labor regulations in all HR activities.
  • Organize and maintain office areas and equipment for the HR department.
  • Monitor and track employee attendance and leave management systems.
  • Assist with the administration of employee benefits and insurance renewals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least one year of experience in an administrative support role.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with employees and management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word is necessary.
  • Familiarity with HRIS and basic knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
