Housekeeping - Team Leader

The Housekeeping Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the housekeeping operations in a facility. They ensure that the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained, manage a team of housekeeping staff, and collaborate with other departments to meet customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff, including room attendants, laundry personnel, and maintenance workers.
• Assign daily cleaning tasks to team members, ensuring that all areas are properly cleaned and maintained.
• Train and coach housekeeping staff on cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and customer service standards.
• Inspect rooms, public areas, and facilities to ensure cleanliness and compliance with hygiene standards.
• Handle guest requests and complaints related to housekeeping, taking appropriate actions to resolve issues.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as front office and maintenance, to ensure efficient operations.
• Maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed.
• Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures to minimize accidents and injuries.

• High school diploma or equivalent. A certificate or diploma in hospitality management is a plus.
• Proven experience in housekeeping, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and hygiene standards.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Effective communication and customer service abilities.
