Job Description

As a Hotel Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our hotel. You will be responsible for overseeing a variety of departments, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and activities, to ensure that guests have a pleasant and memorable stay. Your leadership and organizational skills will be crucial in overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and upholding customer satisfaction. Your goal will be to enhance our guests' experience by implementing high standards of customer service and hospitality. This position requires a strategic thinker who can balance multiple tasks and make effective decisions quickly.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the hotel, ensuring efficient and effective processes.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities across all departments to maintain quality standards.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
  • Manage budgets and financial plans, controlling expenditures and optimizing profits.
  • Conduct regular inspections to maintain hygiene and safety standards throughout the hotel.
  • Lead, train, and motivate staff to provide exceptional service to guests.
  • Resolve customer complaints and handle feedback to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with department heads to align on performance standards and goals.
  • Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to design and implement promotional strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management on operations and financial status.
  • Stay updated with industry trends to keep the hotel competitive in the market.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Hotel Operations Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and staff.
  • Solid understanding of hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
