We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift truck in compliance with company safety standards and OSHA regulations. Responsible for transporting materials throughout the warehouse, the operator will ensure that goods are handled effciently and effectively, maintaining a clutter-free environment and enhancing warehouse operations. The Heavy Forklift Operator will work closely with the warehouse team to support daily operations and meet tight deadlines. Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and heavy machinery safely and effectively to move goods.
• Complete daily forklift maintenance checklists and report any malfunctions.
• Coordinate with warehouse team to manage and prioritize daily tasks.
• Load and unload freight from inbound and outbound trailers efficiently.
• Transfer stock and materials to and from storage or production areas.
• Follow safety standards and protocols during all forklift operations.
• Ensure all inventory movements are accurately entered into storage systems.
• Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies promptly.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Conduct periodic inventory counts and reconcile results with data records.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding tasks.
• Adhere to all company policies and legal guidelines while performing duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification is required for this role.
• A valid forklift certification with proven heavy lifting capabilities.
• Minimum of one year experience in operating heavy forklifts or similar machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and conscientiousness towards safety standards.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload with minimal supervision required.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
• Willingness to work extended hours, nights, or weekends when necessary.
