Job Description

As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that all guest needs are met promptly and efficiently. Your primary role will be to create a welcoming and hospitable environment where guests feel valued and appreciated. You'll handle reservations, check-ins, and check-outs with grace and efficiency. Your ability to listen to guests’ needs and adapt to changing requirements will set the tone for a memorable guest experience. If you have a knack for problem-solving and a passion for hospitality, this role offers you the chance to be an integral part of our front-line team.


Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the reception desk.
  • Efficiently handle guest check-in and check-out processes with accuracy.
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries both in-person and over the phone.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of room rates, special offers, and packages.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness.
  • Address and resolve guest complaints and issues with a professional demeanor.
  • Ensure accurate billing and maintain correct financial transactions.
  • Assist with reservations and cancellations in the reservation system.
  • Provide information about local attractions, dining options, and hotel facilities.
  • Manage guest requests and facilitate the delivery of services effectively.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline guest services and experience.
  • Uphold a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and lobby area.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a guest service or customer service role preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and hotel management software is required.
  • A friendly, patient, and professional attitude toward all guests.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality is a plus.
