Job Description

As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the face of our hospitality establishment, providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences for our guests. Your primary role involves welcoming guests, managing check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations, and responding to inquiries in a friendly and professional manner. You will also be responsible for assisting guests with special requests, ensuring their comfort, and resolving any issues that may arise during their stay. Responsibilities

  • Greet guests upon arrival and ensure a friendly and hospitable welcome.
  • Manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently and accurately.
  • Handle reservations and cancellations professionally using the hotel’s booking system.
  • Address guest queries and complaints, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolutions.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are available for guest arrivals.
  • Assist guests with information about hotel amenities and local attractions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area, keeping it inviting and presentable.
  • Process and record payments from guests, ensuring all transactions are accurate.
  • Regularly review and update guest preferences to enhance their experience.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to facilitate seamless guest services.
  • Promote and upsell hotel facilities and services to maximize guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations at all times.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality education is a plus.
  • Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a hotel environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse guests.
  • Proficiency in using hotel management software and reservation systems.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and guest complaints professionally.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Attention to detail to maintain accuracy in guest records and transactions.
