An SEO Specialist is a digital marketing professional who uses data analysis and strategic planning to increase the visibility of a website in search engine results. Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze website traffic and performance metrics regularly.
  • Collaborate with content creators to optimize web content for maximum SEO impact.
  • Identify and rectify any technical issues that may affect site indexing and SEO.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and algorithm updates from search engines.
  • Perform competitive analysis to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  • Utilize various tools for SEO applications including Google Analytics and SEMrush.
  • Develop link-building strategies to improve site authority and visibility.
  • Provide regular reports on SEO activities and performance to stakeholders.
  • Work with marketing teams to integrate SEO best practices in campaigns.
  • Ensure all websites and Internet properties are up to industry code standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in SEO or a similar role required.
  • Strong knowledge of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
  • Proficiency in using SEO tools such as Google Analytics and Ahrefs.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a knack for data-driven decision making.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for team collaboration.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a fast-paced team environment.
