General Maintenance Technician (225-618)

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection and maintenance on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems regularly.

• Respond swiftly to emergency maintenance requests and resolve issues immediately.
• Perform general plumbing repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently and effectively.
• Ensure electrical systems are in working order by conducting basic repairs and maintenance.
• Maintain records of all maintenance and repair work in a detailed and organized manner.
• Work closely with other maintenance staff to coordinate tasks and prioritize workload.
• Assist with painting, patching, and other minor construction projects as necessary.
• Ensure all maintenance and repair work complies with health and safety regulations.
• Oversee the inventory of tools, materials, and supplies and report shortages immediately.
• Engage in continuous learning to stay updated on new maintenance techniques and technologies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification, vocational training preferred.
• Minimum of two years of experience in building maintenance or a related field.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot maintenance issues.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative maintenance team.
