Job Description

As a Front Desk Agent, you will serve as the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a positive and memorable experience during their stay. Your primary responsibility will be to provide excellent customer service, addressing any guest needs promptly and efficiently. You will handle various administrative tasks to support the smooth running of the hotel or establishment. This includes checking guests in and out, answering inquiries, and handling any complaints in a professional manner. The role demands strong communication and organizational skills, a friendly disposition, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests promptly with a cheerful attitude.
  • Perform accurate check-in and check-out procedures for guests.
  • Answer and direct phone calls to appropriate departments or personnel.
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues with a problem-solving approach.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel amenities and services offered.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff for guest needs.
  • Keep accurate records of guest registrations and financial transactions.
  • Assist in making and confirming reservations as per standard procedures.
  • Ensure front desk area is tidy and well-organized at all times.
  • Handle cash transactions and ensure accuracy in billing and settlements.
  • Provide information about local attractions, restaurants, and services.
  • Implement and adhere to security and safety procedures for all guests.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification is required.
  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a busy environment.
  • Proficient in using various computer systems and office equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-centered attitude.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
