Job Description

The Fleet & Logistic Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing and overseeing the efficient operation of a company’s vehicle fleet and logistics chain. The coordinator is responsible for planning and executing transportation and delivery schedules, ensuring that all logistical operations are completed smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee the logistics operations for timely deliveries.
  • Monitor and maintain the condition and performance of the vehicle fleet.
  • Develop and optimize transportation routes to minimize costs and improve efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with transportation laws, safety standards, and regulations.
  • Manage and resolve logistical issues and emergencies promptly and efficiently.
  • Work closely with vendors, drivers, and dispatchers to coordinate schedules.
  • Implement strategic plans for fleet expansion and maintenance schedules.
  • Analyze logistical data to improve processes and create logistical solutions.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, reports, and performance metrics for logistics.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by fulfilling delivery commitments on time.
  • Train, supervise, and evaluate logistics and transportation staff performance.
  • Manage inventory and track shipment orders using logistics software systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in logistics, fleet management, or transportation coordination.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills for effective fleet operations.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations efficiently and calmly.
  • Proficiency in using logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations, safety standards, and best practices.
