Financial Analyst - FPandA

Job Summary:

Commencing your career in strategic finance with a reputable Investment Holding Firm in Dubai, this role provides essential analytical support to the core FP&A functions. Core tasks include the meticulous compilation and validation of financial data, generating routine performance dashboards, conducting preliminary variance analysis, and ensuring timely, accurate entry of financial plans into the Group’s dedicated planning software.

Job Responsibilities Will Include:

• Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and monthly variance analyses.
• Collect and consolidate financial data from multiple subsidiaries.
• Prepare management reports, trend analyses, and dashboards.
• Support cash flow analysis and performance tracking.
• Build and maintain Excel-based financial models and templates.
• Assist in preparation of Board and management presentations.
• Ensure data accuracy and timely delivery of reports.
• Support senior analysts in scenario and sensitivity modelling.
• Conduct preliminary research on sector and peer benchmarks.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives in reporting and analytics.
• Liaise with accounting teams for reconciliations and adjustments.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
• 2–3 years of FP&A or finance experience, preferably in a group environment.
• Strong analytical and Excel modelling skills.
• Exposure to ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and BI tools preferred.
• Eagerness to learn, high attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
