Job Description

The Finance Assistant role is a crucial position within our organization, where you will be responsible for supporting the finance department in various financial and administrative tasks. Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies identified.
  • Assist with budget tracking and variance analysis for ongoing projects.
  • Maintain organized records of receipts, invoices, and financial correspondence.
  • Provide support in the audit process and preparation of audit documents.
  • Assist in creating financial forecasts and budget plans under guidance.
  • Support payroll processing by collecting and verifying timekeeping information.
  • Engage in financial data entry and maintain updated spreadsheets.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial information accuracy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in a finance or accounting role is advantageous.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
