Field Operations
Comply with safety rules and regulations. Be familiar with the fire equipment in his area. Follow the instructions of the Shift Supervisor and CCR Operator.
Familiar with plant P&IDs, SOPs, Work instructions, basic control logics as well as the emergency operation procedures and any other related documents.
Monitor all parameters at local and enter periodic readings on log sheets. Summarize all activities/events that took place during his shift in the logbook.
Inspect the area and auxiliaries during the shift to make sure that all equipment parameters are within limits. Report abnormalities to the CCR Operator/ Shift Supervisor.
Perform equipment change over according to pre-set schedules. Raise work requests or defect notes for faulty equipment.
Coordinate with CCR Operator/Shift Supervisor for isolating and lining up the equipment and system before and after maintenance. Maintain a tidy housekeeping in the work area and ensure clean up after maintenance work.
Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions
Assist in the training and familiarization of new operators.
Report near misses and implement prescribed risk controls.

Adhere to all relevant health, safety, security and environmental procedures, instructions and controls so that the safety of employees and environmental compliance can be guaranteed.
Minimum Qualifications, Experience, Requirements:
Minimum of Technical Diploma holder in Engineering.
1- 3 years’ experience in Field operations in the RO Water desalination units
Skills
Knowledge of relevant plant equipment and field operations
Extensive experience as local operator in any of the following type of Water Desalination Plants like RO, MSF, MED Plants.
Awareness of HSE & quality standards
Knowledge of all relevant plant processes and equipment
Attention to detail
Knowledge of identification, classification and disposal of waste.
Knowledge of firefighting equipment’s.
Teamwork and effective collaboration skills Embraces Innovation
Demonstrates Integrity and Respect
Should be well conversed with RO Water Plant operational activities.
