Job Description

As an F&B Service Expert, your role is integral to ensuring that guests have an exceptional dining experience. This involves providing top-notch service and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. You will be responsible for managing customer interactions with professionalism, taking orders efficiently, and ensuring that all food and beverages are prepared and served according to the highest standards. A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to exceeding customer expectations are essential in this role. Your ability to work as part of a team, coupled with strong attention to detail, will ensure that the restaurant operates smoothly and that guests leave satisfied and eager to return.


Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and provide personalized F&B service to enhance the dining experience.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders, offering recommendations when required.
  • Ensure all F&B orders are transmitted to kitchen and bar accurately and promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas, dining tables, and workstations.
  • Manage guest queries, concerns, and special requests with professionalism and a positive attitude.
  • Assist in setting up and breaking down areas for special events or large groups when necessary.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Monitor and replenish inventory levels of service supplies and inform management of stock shortages.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
  • Process payments using POS systems and handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to improve service and operational efficiency.
  • Demonstrate a keen understanding of menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in food and beverage service or a related hospitality role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for customer interaction.
  • Ability to provide outstanding customer service and handle high-pressure situations calmly.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and basic math skills for transaction processing.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions and adhere to procedures consistently.
  • Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift items up to 25 pounds as required.
