Job Description

The F&B Service Expert is a crucial part of the hospitality industry, dedicated to ensuring exceptional dining experiences for guests. This position requires specialized knowledge in food and beverage service, and provides guests with a personalized, memorable dining experience. As an F&B Service Expert, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of food and beverage service, maintaining high standards in guest service, and ensuring compliance with health and safety policies. You will work closely with kitchen staff and management to ensure a seamless service experience, handling guest inquiries, and providing creative solutions to enhance service delivery. Your ability to train and mentor junior staff, as well as to adapt to the fast-paced demands of the environment, will be key to success in this role.


Responsibilities

  • Provide exemplary food and beverage service to guests ensuring a memorable experience.
  • Manage daily operations of the dining room and ensure all service protocols are met.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate menu selections and service processes.
  • Address guest inquiries and provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area in compliance with health standards.
  • Train, supervise, and mentor junior service staff to ensure skillful service delivery.
  • Develop and implement creative solutions to improve service efficiency and guest satisfaction.
  • Assist in managing inventory, including the ordering and stocking of necessary supplies.
  • Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to by all service staff members.
  • Evaluate guest feedback and implement strategies for continuous service improvement.
  • Handle guest complaints professionally and promptly, ensuring service recovery strategies.
  • Participate in service meetings and contribute ideas to optimize overall dining operations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Exceptional communication skills for effective guest interaction and team collaboration.
  • Strong knowledge of food service standards and health regulations.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and multitask effectively.
  • Leadership qualities to supervise and motivate a diverse team of staff.
  • Proficiency in POS systems and basic computer skills for operational tasks.
  • Flexible availability including weekends, evenings, and holiday shifts as required.
