The role of a Cafe Manager is pivotal in steering the day-to-day operations of a bustling cafe environment. Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage the financial performance, including budgeting and cost control.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to boost cafe foot traffic and sales.
  • Ensure all equipment and furnishings are maintained and in excellent condition.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly, providing exceptional service resolution.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality of ingredients.
  • Maintain and update records of business performance, including sales and staff rosters.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol licensing regulations.
  • Plan and coordinate special events, promotions, or seasonal offers.
  • Evaluate customer feedback to improve service offerings and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Cafe Manager or equivalent role in a similar setting.
  • Strong leadership skills with a ability to manage and inspire a team effectively.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to handle a fast-paced environment.
  • Sound financial management skills, including budget analysis and cost optimization.
  • Exceptional customer service orientation with a passion for enhancing guest experiences.
  • Strong understanding of health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
