FUNCTION

Could you be our next Event Coordinator? Are you someone who enjoys working on large complex event projects, with varied stakeholders and production needs?

Are you energetic, willing to learn and understands that every event is unique bringing new and exciting creative, logistical and technical challenges.

Client relationship skills and a proficiency in excel are key as you build your acumen - strategically, creatively, technically, and financially.

Key activities and responsibilities

• Using your experience in the live events industry, you will support the Event Director on a range of live event projects
• Proficiency using excel to create project plans, timelines, financial management of project budgets and post event project reporting
• Client/ stakeholder management and liaison
• Coordinate event pitches and respond to RFIs and RFPs
• Brainstorming with creative team to derive the event theme, vision, agenda, run of show and activations
• Coordinate suppliers; venue bookings and event permits
• Help the ED to grow the events business and increase profitability. Commercial acumen is key, and you should know the difference between mark-ups and margins
• Entry level experience in a live events agency is preferable.

You will be required to develop and maintain positive and progressive working relationships both internally and externally, in order to facilitate growth and integration across the business.

Salary

This role offers a competitive salary, dependent on experience. We operate a reward strategy based on our team members receiving a salary that best reflects their experience and skill level.

Hours of work

37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday and weekends as required. Must be able to travel overseas as required.

Annual leave

Our holiday entitlement is 30 calendar days (23 working days) per annum plus statutory holidays declared by private sector.
