Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment efficiently and safely.
• Perform electrical wiring, fixtures, and control systems installations in accordance with blueprints.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatuses, and components to identify electrical hazards.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with local and national electrical codes.
• Perform preventive maintenance to electrical systems to prevent potential issues or critical failures.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure timely project completion.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and repair work performed.
• Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to determine the layout of wiring or equipment installations.
• Use a variety of tools and equipment safely, such as power construction equipment and measurement devices.
• Advise management on the continued use of unsuitable equipment and recommend replacements.
• Perform business management duties such as maintaining records, ordering equipment and supplies.
• Communicate clearly with clients and team members to ensure satisfaction and safety.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Electrician with the ability to demonstrate technical skills.
• Completion of electrician apprenticeship or equivalent experience in electrical systems.
• In-depth understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in troubleshooting issues.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
• Valid electrician license or certification as per local and national regulations.
