Job Description

An Electrical Foreman 11N25 plays a crucial role in supervising and coordinating the electrical installation activities at construction sites or industrial facilities. This position is centered around ensuring that all electrical systems, wiring, and installations are done in compliance with national and local electrical codes. The Foreman is responsible for managing a team of electricians, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and with the highest standards of quality and safety. It requires a deep understanding of electrical systems, excellent leadership qualities, and the ability to troubleshoot and solve complex problems. The ideal candidate should possess a keen eye for detail and the ability to work under pressure in a demanding environment.


Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage a team of electricians on assigned projects.
  • Coordinate daily work schedules and allocate labor resources efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations.
  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and job specifications for electrical tasks.
  • Inspect and review the work of electricians to ensure compliance and quality.
  • Maintain accurate records of electrical work progress and report to project managers.
  • Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior electricians and apprentices.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure high-quality electrical work.
  • Work collaboratively with other foremen and project managers on site logistics.
  • Assess project needs and order necessary materials and equipment in a timely manner.
  • Respond promptly to any safety incidents or electrical emergencies on site.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent; further technical education is a plus.
  • Valid electrical journeyman license or equivalent credential is required.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the electrical industry.
  • Strong knowledge of national and local electrical codes and standards.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting skills in electrical systems and installations.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics.
  • Proficient use of hand and power tools related to electrical work.
