We are currently seeking experienced  

Electrical Construction Supervisor – Power Systems (m/f/d) Topside 

to support the Site Management Topside Construction project, starting approx. April 2026, for an estimated duration till 2030.  

This freelance role is onshore-based at Port Rashid, Dubai, operating on a Shiftsystem or with potential weekend assignments depending on operational requirements. 

As part of your role, you will be entrusted with the following responsibilities: 

• Overseeing the installation of HV/MV systems including primary equipment, earthing, and lightning protection, as well as LV/Auxiliary power systems (0.4 kV AC / 220 V DC distribution, cabling, UPS, AC/DC converters, diesel generators – electrical scope, batteries, lighting). 
• Acting as the on-site contractor representative (CR) and participating in contractor meetings. 
• Monitoring installation progress, reviewing documentation, and supervising safety measures. 
• Reporting and following up on non-conformities (NC) and HSE incidents, and tracking punch items using dedicated tools. 
• Participating in pre-commissioning activities, testing, ITP witness/hold points, and HAT.

• A technical background, gained either through a university degree in electrical engineering (Master’s/Dipl.-Ing.) or through a completed apprenticeship, technical qualification, or comparable professional training combined with relevant work experience
• Having several years of experience as a contractor representative (CR) on large-scale construction sites, preferably 5+ years. 
• Having experience across the full installation process, including testing and commissioning of both primary (HV/MV) and auxiliary (LV/DC/UPS) electrical systems. 
• Demonstrating strong knowledge of relevant standards and regulations (DIN VDE, IEC, offshore guidelines). 
• Showing solid competence in documentation review and non-conformity management. 
• Being business-fluent in English. 
• Having a permanent residence in Dubai or demonstrating willingness to relocate to Dubai for the duration of the project. 
  
  

Nice to Have:

• Holding electrical authorization according to DIN VDE 0105-100. 
• Having experience as a Site Manager. 
• Being fluent in German and/or Arabic. 
• Having prior experience with primary equipment and auxiliary power systems in offshore projects.
