Job Description

An E-commerce Executive is responsible for overseeing and managing the online sales and presence of a business. They play a crucial role in developing and implementing e-commerce strategies to drive sales and attract new customers. An E-commerce Executive works closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure a seamless online customer experience, from browsing products to completing transactions. They are adept at analyzing web traffic and other key data to refine and optimize e-commerce initiatives. Furthermore, E-commerce Executives must stay abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continually enhance the company’s online commerce capabilities, working to position the brand competitively in the digital marketplace.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute e-commerce strategies to enhance online sales growth.
  • Manage the day-to-day online store operations, ensuring smooth processes.
  • Work collaboratively with marketing teams to drive traffic and conversions.
  • Monitor website traffic and user behavior to identify improvement areas.
  • Maintain an updated catalog with accurate product descriptions, prices, and images.
  • Oversee the performance analytics and adjust strategies for better KPIs.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Implement customer feedback to improve the online shopping experience.
  • Research and apply new technologies to enhance e-commerce capabilities.
  • Stay informed on e-commerce trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with strategic partners and vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with digital retail standards and policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field required.
  • Previous experience in e-commerce or digital marketing is essential.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and drive business insights.
  • Proficiency in e-commerce platforms like Shopify, Magento, or WooCommerce.
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities are necessary.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for efficient execution.
  • Creative problem-solving skills to address challenges in online sales.
