Responsibilities

• Produce detailed technical drawings based on specifications and calculations provided by engineers.
• Work collaboratively with engineers, architects, and designers to ensure designs are accurate and feasible.
• Revise drawings and layouts to accommodate changes and alterations requested by project leaders.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current drafting techniques and software applications.
• Ensure that all designs adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Provide clients with clear and precise visual representations of their projects.
• Create multiple versions of design drafts to account for feedback and adjustments.
• Conduct thorough reviews of blueprints and schematics to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Manage and organize large volumes of design documents effectively and systematically.
• Coordinate with project teams to meet deadlines and project milestones efficiently.
• Utilize CAD software to optimize the efficiency and clarity of the design drafting process.
• Assist with the resolution of design-related issues as they arise during the development process.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
• Proven work experience as a Draughtsman in the engineering or architecture industry.
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
• Strong understanding of construction, engineering, and architectural design principles.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong eye for design and layout.
• Ability to interpret technical details and transform them into accurate drawings.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
• Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
