Job Description

To manage, control, and maintain all project documentation in compliance with AECOM standards and RTA requirements, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and timely distribution of documents across stakeholders.

  • Maintain and update the Document Management System (DMS) (e.g., Aconex, EDMS).
  • Register, track, and distribute incoming and outgoing documents (drawings, reports, RFIs, submittals).
  • Ensure proper document numbering, revision control, and version tracking.
  • Archive project documents in line with company and client standards.
  • Coordinate with engineers, consultants, contractors, and RTA representatives.
  • Ensure timely submission of documents to the client and follow up on approvals.
  • Manage transmittals and document workflows between all project parties.
  • Ensure all documentation complies with RTA standards and project requirements.
  • Perform quality checks on documents before submission.
  • Maintain audit-ready document records.

Qualifications
  • Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5–12 years of experience in document control (preferably infrastructure projects).
  • Experience working on RTA or similar government authority projects is a strong advantage.
  • MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Aconex / EDMS / SharePoint
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD drawings (preferred but not mandatory)

Additional Information
  • Generate weekly/monthly reports (document status, approvals, delays).
  • Track pending documents, overdue submissions, and approvals.
  • Maintain logs for RFIs, submittals, drawings, and correspondence
  • Support implementation of document control procedures.
  • Train project staff on document control systems if required.
  • Ensure proper access control and security of documents.
  • Minimum 3 years of work expereince in UAE is Mandatory
