Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Customer Service Executive to join our Freight & Logistics team. In this role, you will be the face of our company, liaising with our clients to ensure their freight and logistics needs are met with efficiency and professionalism. Your primary goal will be to enhance customer satisfaction by providing attentive service and resolving issues in a timely manner. You will play a key role in managing and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery, from order initiation to final delivery. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of logistics processes, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries regarding freight and logistics services.
  • Manage and coordinate the entire shipping process to meet customer expectations.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Identify customer needs and offer tailored solutions to enhance service satisfaction.
  • Track shipments and update customers regularly on their status and progress.
  • Resolve service issues and customer complaints in a prompt and effective manner.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of customer interactions, transactions, and feedback.
  • Ensure all operational and customer service activities comply with company policies.
  • Assist in the preparation of service performance reports for management review.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of customer service policies.
  • Provide support in the planning and execution of customer service initiatives.
  • Participate in training sessions to maintain and enhance service delivery skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in customer service within freight and logistics.
  • Strong understanding of logistics processes and international freight regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Proficient in using customer relationship management (CRM) software tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
