Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring and equipment efficiently and safely.
• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems to avoid potential issues.
• Diagnose malfunctioning electrical systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to plan and execute electrical installations.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical diagrams for installation tasks.
• Ensure compliance with national and local electrical codes and regulations.
• Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and resolve issues effectively.
• Maintain a log of activities and provide detailed reports on electrical tasks.
• Conduct routine inspection of electrical equipment to identify hazards or defects.
• Guide and mentor junior electricians in their daily duties and responsibilities.
• Stay updated on the latest electrical technologies and tools in the industry.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding job progress.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred.
• Valid electrician license or certification, in accordance with local regulations.
• Minimum of three years of experience working as a professional electrician.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and all necessary equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot effectively.
• Good physical condition and ability to work in confined spaces as needed.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for report generation.
