Job Description

As a Consultant Radiologist, you will be at the forefront of diagnostic and interventional imaging, playing a pivotal role in patient care. Your expertise in radiological diagnostics will aid clinicians in making informed decisions, thereby having a direct impact on patient outcomes. You will be responsible for interpreting a wide array of imaging modalities, from X-rays and ultrasounds to CT scans and MRIs. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you will provide crucial insights that guide clinical decisions in both elective and emergency settings. The role demands a high level of precision, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

  • Interpret and analyze various medical imaging modalities with high accuracy.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to guide patient management decisions.

  • Communicate complex diagnostic information effectively to clinicians and patients.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advances in radiology and related fields.
  • Ensure imaging equipment is used and maintained according to best practice standards.
  • Supervise and mentor junior radiologists and radiographers in diagnostic techniques.
  • Engage in research activities to advance the field of radiology and improve patient outcomes.
  • Participate in regular audit processes to improve radiology services and patient safety.
  • Prepare detailed reports on imaging findings and archive them as per institutional policies.
  • Liaise with medical physicists to ensure compliance with radiation safety regulations.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of radiology training programs for medical staff.

Requirements

  • Medical degree from a recognized medical school with specialization in Radiology.
  • Valid medical license  in Radiology.
  • Extensive experience in interpreting various radiological imaging modalities.
  • Proficiency in performing interventional radiology procedures is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills to convey complex medical information clearly and efficiently.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Commitment to continuous medical education and professional development.
