Join our prestigious team as a Concierge (Chinese Speaker), where you'll enjoy providing exceptional customer service to our diverse clientele. Your fluency in Chinese will be invaluable in assisting our Mandarin-speaking guests, making communication efficient and their stay enjoyable. In this role, anticipation of guest needs is key, and you’ll be expected to go above and beyond to provide recommendations and resolve inquiries. Your role will involve collaborating with various departments to ensure guest satisfaction and a five-star experience from start to finish. The ideal candidate for this position is someone who enjoys engaging with people, possesses the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and is dedicated to setting a standard of excellence in hospitality.


Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests warmly, ensuring their needs and expectations are met promptly.
  • Provide recommendations for dining and entertainment suitable to guest preferences.
  • Coordinate guest transportation requests with efficiency and attention to detail.
  • Assist Mandarin-speaking guests by translating information and communicating requests.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to address guest concerns effectively.
  • Manage guest bookings, including dining reservations and tour arrangements.
  • Promote hotel services, ensuring guests are informed of available amenities.
  • Handle customer complaints with professionalism, providing appropriate resolutions.
  • Maintain a knowledge base of local attractions and events for guest recommendations.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, reflecting hotel standards.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including reporting and record-keeping as necessary.


Requirements

  • Fluent in both Mandarin and English, with excellent communication skills.
  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred.
  • Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • A deep understanding of local attractions and the surrounding area.
  • Friendly and approachable personality with a passion for guest service.
