Commercial Manager

The Commercial Manager is responsible for overseeing business development, contract negotiation, pricing strategies, and profitability analysis across projects or products. This role plays a key part in ensuring commercial success by aligning financial goals with operational execution. The ideal candidate should be strategic, analytical, and experienced in managing client relationships and commercial functions in a competitive environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with company goals and market conditions.

• Manage tendering processes, bid preparation, and proposal submissions.

• Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers, vendors, and clients.

• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to optimize pricing and positioning.

• Monitor and report on commercial performance, identifying areas for improvement.

• Collaborate with finance, operations, and legal teams to ensure contractual compliance.

• Maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.

• Review and assess commercial risks and opportunities in new projects.

• Drive profitability through cost control and revenue optimization initiatives.

• Support leadership in strategic decision-making and long-term planning.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field; MBA is a plus.

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in commercial management, preferably in construction, real estate, or large-scale projects.

• Strong understanding of contract law, tendering procedures, and financial forecasting.

• Proven negotiation and communication skills.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience with ERP and CRM systems.

• Leadership capabilities with a strategic mindset.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
