The CNC Operator 15J25 plays a critical role in manufacturing by operating computer numerically controlled (CNC) machines to produce precision parts and components for various industries. Responsibilities

• Set up and prepare CNC machines for the production process, ensuring all settings are correct.
• Operate CNC machines to produce high-quality parts in accordance with engineering drawings.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet required specifications and quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machine operation and output quality.
• Interpret and work from detailed technical blueprints and engineering plans.
• Collaborate with the engineering department to develop and optimize machining processes.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Document and report production data, including any deviations from the standard process.
• Coordinate with quality assurance to ensure continuous quality improvements.
• Assist in the training and development of junior CNC operators as needed.
• Stay updated on advancements in CNC technology and recommend improvements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints accurately.
• Proficiency in CNC machine programming and operation, including tool changes.
