Job Description

The role of an Area Visual Merchandiser involves creating visually appealing product displays that enhance the customer shopping experience across multiple stores in a designated area. The Area Visual Merchandiser is responsible for executing and maintaining visual merchandising standards that align with brand guidelines, seasonal themes, and promotional events. This position requires travelling between locations to ensure consistency and high standards of presentation. The successful candidate will possess a keen eye for design, the ability to work collaboratively with store teams, and the flexibility to adapt displays quickly based on feedback and sales data. Effective communication skills are essential for training and supporting store staff in merchandising techniques and standards.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement visual merchandising strategies consistent with brand guidelines.
  • Design and install creative and appealing displays in multiple retail locations.
  • Ensure displays remain fresh, up-to-date, and aligned with marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with store managers to execute display changes seamlessly.
  • Travel between stores within designated area to maintain consistent standards.
  • Provide guidance and training to store staff on merchandising best practices.
  • Analyze sales performance to optimize product placement and displays.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to synchronize product launches and promotions.
  • Monitor and report on competitor visual merchandising strategies and trends.
  • Maintain inventory of visual merchandising supplies and order as required.
  • Ensure all displays comply with health and safety regulations and protocols.
  • Work extended hours during seasonal campaigns and product launches as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Visual Merchandising, Fashion, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in a visual merchandising position, ideally at a regional level.
  • Strong creative skills, with a keen eye for detail and color coordination.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and staff training.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time across multiple locations.
  • Proficiency in visual design tools and software to create display plans.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to respond to changing priorities quickly.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within designated area.
