A Civil Site Engineer is also tasked with solving construction issues, liaising with stakeholders, and providing technical advice. Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to engineering standards and specifications.
• Manage daily site activities to ensure timely completion of construction projects.
• Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met.
• Review and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications for compliance.
• Ensure that all safety procedures and guidelines are strictly followed on-site.
• Provide technical advice and solutions to construction-related issues encountered on-site.
• Measure and value the work done on-site, preparing necessary documentation for payments.
• Prepare and submit reports on project progress to stakeholders and management.
• Manage project resources effectively to optimize costs and maximize quality.
• Monitor project budgets and schedules to ensure financial targets are achieved.
• Facilitate communication between different teams to ensure smooth operation.
• Ensure environmental regulations are adhered to, minimizing project impact.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required.
• Proven experience of at least three years as a Civil Site Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, and materials, and site management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex site issues.
• Licensure or certification in civil engineering will be considered an advantage.
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and other related tools.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of teams and stakeholders.
