We are searching for a highly skilled and dedicated Civil Project Engineer to join our growing construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and executing civil engineering projects, ensuring the timely completion and quality of work. The ideal candidate will be technically sound, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage their time effectively. You'll be working closely with other engineers, project managers, and construction workers to deliver a project that meets the specified requirements. This role requires a proactive individual with strong leadership qualities capable of making key decisions that impact the project outcomes positively. You will be vital in collaborating with stakeholders to ensure each project remains within scope and budget, maintaining compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Oversee the execution of civil engineering projects from inception to completion.
• Coordinate with architects, suppliers, and contractors to ensure project alignment.
• Conduct on-site inspections to monitor progress and safety compliance regularly.
• Prepare detailed engineering reports, documents, and designs for civil projects.
• Ensure projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations and codes.
• Analyze data to optimize project performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Provide technical advice and resolve complex issues during the construction phase.
• Foster strong relationships with clients to understand their project objectives.
• Monitor and report project progress while troubleshooting potential roadblocks.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers and interns, providing guidance and support.
• Participate in project meetings and provide updates to stakeholders as necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience working in civil engineering or project management.
• Proficient in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MS Project.
• Strong understanding of construction techniques, codes, and safety regulations.
• Effective communication skills with a diverse range of project stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines efficiently.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not mandatory.
