We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Civil Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing, designing, and implementing civil engineering projects. You will work closely with other engineering professionals and project managers to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will utilize your engineering knowledge and skills to solve complex problems and make critical decisions that significantly impact the success of each project. The role requires extensive collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure all project goals are achieved efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans in coordination with project management teams.
• Analyze survey reports, maps, and data to plan projects effectively.
• Oversee the construction and maintenance of structures and facilities.
• Ensure project specifications comply with acceptable engineering standards.
• Prepare summaries and reports detailing project status and ongoing developments.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and implement improvements.
• Coordinate with architects and engineers to review and approve project designs.
• Implement risk management processes to minimize project risks effectively.
• Utilize engineering software to optimize project outcomes and efficiencies.
• Communicate ongoing project risks and resolutions to stakeholders consistently.
• Ensure safety procedures are adhered to throughout the project duration.
• Facilitate environmental studies to abide by environmental regulatory policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field is required.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in civil engineering project management.
• Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for effective project delivery.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with stakeholders.
• Familiarity with project management and engineering budgeting concepts.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred for this position.
