Role Description Male Chinese Translator role is a full-time position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The translator will be responsible for translating written and verbal content between Chinese and English (and, when needed, Arabic Plus factor), ensuring accuracy, consistency, and cultural appropriateness. Daily tasks include reviewing documents and presentations, preparing clear translations for internal teams and external partners, and supporting meetings by interpreting key information. The role also involves collaborating with project teams to clarify terminology, maintaining translation glossaries, and proofreading translated materials for quality assurance. The translator will work closely with colleagues across departments to support communication, documentation, and reporting needs.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) and English, with excellent reading, writing, listening, and speaking abilities.
• Proven experience in translation and interpretation, preferably in a business or technical environment.
• Solid grasp of grammar, style, and cultural nuances in both languages, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple translation tasks, prioritize deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
• Comfort working on-site in a multicultural team environment in Dubai, with professional communication skills.
• Familiarity with common office and collaboration tools (such as word processors, spreadsheets, and email clients).
• Bachelor’s degree in Languages, Translation, Linguistics, International Studies, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience in the Middle East or in international organizations is an advantage.
• With 5-8 years construction experience.
