Chief Risk Officer

Our client is a regulated financial institution operating across corporate and investment banking services. The organisation is strengthening its enterprise risk framework in line with regulatory expectations.

The Role

The Chief Risk Officer will lead credit, market, operational, and enterprise risk management. This role will oversee risk policies, governance frameworks, and regulatory reporting. A key focus will be balancing growth objectives with prudent risk management. The CRO will advise the board and executive leadership on risk exposure and mitigation strategies. This role will also manage regulatory relationships and internal risk teams. High independence and governance credibility are essential.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have senior risk leadership experience within banking or financial services. Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and risk governance is essential. Experience in the UAE market is highly preferred. The candidate must demonstrate sound judgment, independence, and executive presence. Professional risk or finance qualifications are strongly valued.
