Job Summary

We are hiring a Buyer with experience in piping materials (pipes, fittings, valves, etc.) and knowledge of standards like ASME, ASTM, and API. The role involves sourcing, supplier management, order tracking, cost control, and ensuring compliance with quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Source piping products as per specifications and international standards

Manage supplier performance and build strong vendor relationships

Track orders and coordinate with logistics and warehouse

Negotiate pricing and support procurement budgeting

Verify mill test certificates and ensure compliance

Maintain accurate records and prepare procurement reports

Requirements

Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering (preferred: Supply Chain)

5+ years of relevant procurement experience

Knowledge of ASME, ASTM, API standards

Strong negotiation, coordination, and documentation skills

Preferred certifications: CIPS, CSCP

Language: English (mandatory); Hindi (preferred)
