Job Description

The Business Development Manager is critical for driving growth and generating new business opportunities for the company. This role involves developing strategies to boost company sales and brand presence, identifying new market opportunities, and maintaining and growing key clients. The ideal candidate will have an innovative mindset, sound knowledge of marketing principles, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to form solid relationships with clients and stakeholders. They will identify businesses' needs and demonstrate how the company's products or services can satisfy these demands. As a Business Development Manager, you will be at the forefront of the company's success, helping to shape and execute strategic initiatives that will ensure long-term growth and sustainability.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to identify potential business opportunities.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive sales growth and market expansion.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities and partnerships.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop campaigns that support business development initiatives.
  • Prepare and present proposals and presentations to potential clients and partners.
  • Negotiate contract terms with clients in line with company policies and standards.
  • Monitor competitors' activities and identify potential threats and opportunities.
  • Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators and revenue targets.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on business development activities and success rates.
  • Facilitate cross-departmental collaborations to ensure seamless execution of business strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales management.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills are essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Knowledge of the industry and market dynamics applicable to the position.
