Job Description

The HR Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the human resources department by performing a variety of administrative tasks. This position is crucial in ensuring that HR operations run smoothly and efficiently. The HR Assistant will have the opportunity to contribute to the team's success through effective communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. This role encompasses a wide range of duties, including maintaining employee records, preparing HR documents, and assisting in recruitment activities. Additionally, the HR Assistant will facilitate positive employee relations and provide excellent customer service to both current and prospective employees. This position is suited for someone who is detail-oriented, has excellent interpersonal skills, and is interested in growing within the HR field.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in organizing and maintaining personnel records in an efficient manner.
  • Prepare and update HR documents such as employment contracts and new hire guides.
  • Assist in recruitment by posting job ads and managing the hiring process.
  • Schedule interviews and communicate with candidates in a timely fashion.
  • Support HR-related inquiries and provide effective solutions to employees and managers.
  • Coordinate and facilitate new employee orientation sessions and trainings.
  • Participate in and document employee-related meetings and discussions accurately.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive employee information and records.
  • Compile reports on HR metrics such as employee turnover and new hire rates.
  • Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant employee information.
  • Help organize and plan company events, activities, and employee recognition programs.
  • Monitor HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as an HR Assistant, HR Administrator, or relevant role desirable.
  • Proficiency in HRIS, MS Office Suite, and office management software systems.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for diverse audiences.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and discretion.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
