Job Description

As a Business Development Executive in the IT sector, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s growth and expanding its market presence. Your primary goal will be to identify new business opportunities, establish strategic partnerships, and optimize sales activities to generate revenue. Working closely with the sales and marketing teams, you will devise and implement effective strategies to target potential clients and sectors. A Business Development Executive must possess not only technical understanding but also excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise with stakeholders and clients effectively. Your efforts will contribute significantly to the company’s strategic positioning and financial health in the competitive IT landscape.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and emerging IT trends.
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with clients, vendors, and partners.
  • Design and implement a comprehensive business development strategy for IT services.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to increase brand awareness and demand generation.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.
  • Manage contract negotiations and facilitate deal closures with key clients and partners.
  • Monitor industry developments to ensure services meet evolving client requirements.
  • Analyze sales data and report on performance metrics to senior management.
  • Attend conferences and networking events to stay informed and promote company services.
  • Identify customer needs and develop customized IT solutions to satisfy them.
  • Provide accurate forecasts and develop strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Liaise with the product development teams to align business growth strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, or related field is mandatory.
  • Proven experience in business development or sales, ideally in the IT sector.
  • Strong understanding of IT products, services, and industry dynamics.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to build and nurture trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, conferences, and networking events.
