Job Description

A Business Analyst plays a critical role in bridging the gap between IT and business by analyzing data to improve business processes. They scrutinize business operations and identify opportunities for enhancing effectiveness and efficiency. By collaborating with IT and business departments, Business Analysts gather, analyze, and document requirements, translate them into understandable terms, and ensure they meet business needs. They are essential in project management, providing solutions and recommendations based on data-driven insights. Through the development of suitable processes, a Business Analyst also works to ensure the organization meets its strategic objectives, capitalizing on growth opportunities while mitigating risks.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed analysis of business operations to identify improvement areas.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document their requirements and needs.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications for IT departments.
  • Develop, analyze, and recommend strategies to improve organizational performance.
  • Create comprehensive reports and documentation to support decision-making processes.
  • Provide insights and reports to senior management for strategic planning purposes.
  • Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
  • Identify and track key business metrics to assess project impact and success.
  • Facilitate workshops to gather essential business information from stakeholders effectively.
  • Participate in system testing and quality assurance to ensure system alignment with business goals.
  • Monitor industry and market trends to stay informed of emerging patterns and technologies.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and business units for clear communication.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in business analysis or a related area.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate business data.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, or Tableau.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with diverse teams.
  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools is desired.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage complex information.
