Biomedical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Biomedical Engineer to join our team. The Biomedical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining medical equipment and systems. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to identify needs and requirements for medical equipment.
• Design and develop new medical devices, instrumentation, and systems.
• Create detailed design specifications, including schematics, drawings, and prototypes.
• Conduct testing and validation of biomedical devices to ensure safety and efficacy.
• Perform clinical trials and studies to gather data and assess device performance.
• Analyze test results and make necessary design modifications.
• Stay informed about regulatory standards and guidelines for medical devices.
• Ensure that all developed devices comply with relevant regulations and quality standards.
• Assist in the preparation of regulatory submissions and documentation.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including researchers, clinicians, and other engineers.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to interdisciplinary teams.
• Collaborate on research projects and clinical trials.
• Maintain and troubleshoot existing medical equipment and systems.
• Provide technical support to medical staff for device operation and maintenance.
• Develop maintenance and service protocols for biomedical equipment.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and user manuals.
• Ensure that all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in biomedical engineering and medical technology.
• Participate in research initiatives and contribute to innovation in the field.

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field (Master's is a plus).
• Proven experience as a Biomedical Engineer, with at least 3 years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, medical devices, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Experience with medical device design, testing, and validation.
