For our office in Dubai, we are looking for

BIM Modeler - Roads & Highways - 100% (m/f)

The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience in BIM for road and highway infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on corridor and roadway design. They should be proficient in Civil 3D and AutoCAD, capable of delivering accurate BIM models, drawings, and documentation, and flexible in working across CAD and Civil 3D environments. Strong collaboration skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet project deadlines are key.

Responsibilities:

• Support design engineers from concept stage to detailed design stage.
• Develop and manage 3D BIM models for roads and highways in line with project requirements.
• Create and refine horizontal and vertical alignments, road corridors, and assemblies.
• Produce accurate plans, profiles, cross-sections, and grading designs.
• Collaborate with engineers and other disciplines to integrate road designs into wider infrastructure projects.
• Prepare construction drawings, layouts, and documentation from BIM models.
• Conduct quality checks on models and drawings to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Support clash detection, quantity take-offs, and coordination using BIM tools.
• Maintain compliance with BIM execution plans, modeling standards, and data accuracy.
• Expertise in Civil 3D and excellent drafting skills in AutoCAD.
• Conduct thorough quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) checks on models and drawings.
• Maintain model data integrity, file organization, and version control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Implement and follow BIM Execution Plans (BEP), company standards, and naming conventions.
• Support automation workflows, templates, and CAD/BIM standards to improve efficiency.
  
  

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a BIM Modeler or Drafter, preferably in road and highway design.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and other BIM tools relevant to road/infrastructure design.
• Strong understanding of road design standards, alignments, and corridor modeling.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a collaborative environment.
• Middle East experience preferred.
