Key Responsibilities

The BIM (Building Information Modeling) Manager is responsible for managing and implementing BIM processes across construction projects, ensuring accurate 3D modeling, coordination between disciplines, and efficient digital workflows. The role involves collaborating with project teams, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure design and construction activities are integrated seamlessly using BIM technologies.

  • Develop, implement, and enforce BIM standards, procedures, and protocols across projects.
  • Coordinate and manage multidisciplinary BIM models (architectural, structural, MEP).
  • Conduct clash detection and resolve coordination issues between design disciplines.
  • Support project teams in integrating BIM workflows into project planning, design, and construction phases.
  • Train and mentor project team members on BIM tools, best practices, and standards.
  • Ensure accurate documentation, version control, and model integrity.
  • Collaborate with procurement, project managers, and site teams to ensure BIM outputs support construction activities.
  • Monitor and report on BIM-related KPIs, progress, and issues to management.

Working Conditions

  • Office-based with frequent coordination meetings; site visits may be required.
  • Interaction with design teams, project managers, consultants, and subcontractors.

Required Qualifications & Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Architectural Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in construction or design with at least 3–5 years in BIM coordination/management.
  • Proficient in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other modeling/coordination tools.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, standards, and digital project workflows.
  • Excellent coordination, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with clash detection, 4D/5D BIM, and model-based project management is preferred.
