Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Billing Administrator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should be equipped with strong analytical skills and a proactive attitude to manage and execute the billing process effectively. As a Billing Administrator, you will be responsible for generating invoices, reconciling account balances, and ensuring the financial operations related to billing are smooth and accurate. You will work closely with various departments, including finance, sales, and customer service, to resolve billing inquiries and ensure customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

  • Generate and dispatch invoices to customers and clients in a timely manner.
  • Accurately reconcile account balances and ensure timely collection of outstanding balances.
  • Work collaboratively with various internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all billing operations and correspondence.
  • Monitor and manage the billing system to ensure correct invoicing practices.
  • Prepare monthly reports summarizing billing activities and outstanding balances.
  • Handle customer inquiries and disputes regarding billing in a professional manner.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to billing, as required.
  • Ensure compliance with all billing policies and regulations to maintain audit readiness.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in the billing system and workflow.
  • Train and support junior staff on billing processes and procedures as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to enhance client satisfaction and retention.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a related area.
  • Proficient in using billing software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to handle client interactions effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and billing regulations is highly advantageous.
