Automotive Technician - Diagnostics

Job Summary

Specializes in identifying complex faults in electronic and computerized vehicle systems using advanced diagnostic tools. Works closely with service teams to support accurate repairs and root-cause analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Use diagnostic scanners and OEM software to troubleshoot issues in engine management, transmission control, ABS, airbag, HVAC, and infotainment systems.
• Perform system resets, software updates, and calibrations.
• Collaborate with repair technicians to guide necessary repairs.
• Maintain and update diagnostic reports and fault logs.
• Stay updated on emerging vehicle technologies and diagnostic tools.
  
  

• Diploma in Automotive Engineering or Electronics (or related field).
• 3+ years of experience in vehicle diagnostics.
• Valid UAE Manual Driving License is mandatory
• Proficient in using OBD scanners, oscilloscopes, and OEM diagnostic platforms.
• Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with hybrid and EV systems is a plus.
