Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Java.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand and prioritize testing requirements.
• Identify, record, document, and track bugs and defects during testing.
• Execute automated tests and analyze results to improve software quality.
• Create detailed and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Provide support in functional and regression testing for product releases.
• Participate in requirement analysis and work closely with stakeholders for clarity.
• Maintain effective communication with team members for project updates.
• Ensure continuous improvement by employing testing methodologies and tools.
• Prepare and present test reports to management and stakeholders.
• Stay updated with emerging tools, trends, and technologies in automation testing.
• Mentor junior testers in the team on test automation concepts and tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
• A minimum of three years’ experience in automation testing with Selenium.
• Proficiency in Java programming language is essential for this role.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and test methodologies.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment practices.
• Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and cases.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are imperative for success.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical teams.
• Capability to work independently and manage multiple testing tasks efficiently.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git is advantageous.
