Automation Test Engineer (225-630)

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand software requirements and features.
• Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify software defects.
• Maintain and enhance the existing test automation framework and tools.
• Report and track software defects and provide input for root cause analysis.
• Work closely with QA engineers to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans and scripts.
• Participate in code reviews to provide input on testability and quality standards.
• Assist in the continuous improvement of the testing process and practices.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in test automation.
• Train and mentor junior team members in test automation best practices.
• Ensure testing environments are set up and maintained to replicate production environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Two or more years of experience in software test automation development.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
• Strong understanding of software development and testing methodologies.
• Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, or JUnit.
• Ability to write clear and insightful test cases and test plans.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced development environment.
• Strong analytical skills to understand complex software requirements.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools.
